My Students
My students are a combination of eager, excited, and very intelligent kindergartners. Being from a small rural town, many of my students live in poverty. Our school is a Title I school, and everyone that attends receives free school lunches. They always give their best in class, no matter the circumstances of their home life.
My students are eager to learn and grow together as a whole.
They are a very active bunch, but a true joy to have in class. Not only do my students learn from me, I have learned so much from them. When they walk through the doors, our learning adventure starts together.
My Project
I am asking for an iPad, an Osmo Genius Kit and an Osmo Pizza Co. Working with Osmo will build knowledge in reading, math, and problem solving skills. Already having one Osmo in our classroom, my students have learned to work together building many types of skills along the way. Students have also shown advancement in learning how to spell new words, recite our sight words, and write sentences on their own. Our standards have changed in our Kindergarten classroom, which now includes money.
My students will be able to use the new ipad along with Pizza Osmo to help guide them in learning money and its worth.
In using Osmo, students will gain great deal of amount of knowledge that has shown and will show in their work daily.
