My Students
I have the greatest students! It's been so fun to get to know all of them in this first month of school. Thanks to many generous donations, I'm able to add more books to our library! I've asked my students to tell me their favorite reads, and will be purchasing another 25 books to add to our library! The most popular genres among students were fantasy and mystery, so many of the books fall under those two categories. I know many of them will take the opportunity to read these great books.
My Project
I am so grateful for the outpouring of support for my original Donors Choose project. The additional donations will purchase more books! I've asked my students to list their favorites, and we have a pile of fantasy and mystery titles coming to our shelves in class. Thank you so much friends and family! As a first year teacher, I'm proud of the books available to my students and look forward to them finding joy in reading! My goal is to put the right book in the right hands to make reading a more exciting and meaningful experience. An English teacher can give no greater gift!
