Help me give my students different activities to work on literacy skills with the alphabet rockets, fishing for sight words, and crayon word building center! Also, they can explore numbers with the unlock it locks and flip boards!
My students are similar to most 5- and 6-year-old students. They enjoy coming to school! They want to learn so much, and I want to be able to help them. These students have a desire to know about the world and all the opportunities that this world has to offer.
My students are energetic and ready to learn!
I look forward to being their teacher! They have some lofty goals for this year, and I have some high expectations for them to meet!
My Project
I would love to offer my students different choices during our literacy block and other parts of our day! The alphabet rockets will be good to work on beginning sounds and the crayon activity will lead them into building words. I asked for two different math activities that my students could use during math tubs. And some turn and learn magnetic gears and snap dinos will help build their fine motor skills!
Students learn best by using and manipulating letters, words, and numbers!
I want my students to learn at their own pace and to enjoy working on growing their brains! It is best to do this without the use of a worksheet! Students are more inclined to work and maintain their focus if they can hold and build while working!
