My Students
I have 25 amazing 2nd graders. They are curious learners and love hands on technology.
These young students are future engineers who love to build and create with their minds and hands.
I want to remind them that their success is unlimited. We are a "Leader in Me" school. My students are learning how to develop qualities that will teach them how to deal with conflict and resolutions, how to think win-win and how they can change the world, simply by who they are.
My Project
My school borrowed some Ozobots robots for the students to try out. My students could not get enough of them!
This hands-on STEM activity encourages ALL learners, no matter their weaknesses or strengths to not only think outside of the box, but use their minds to further their hands-on learning and creativity.
My students were able to use their creativity to explore and make their own coding map. They were so proud of their individual progress. They loved figuring out how to make the ozobot move faster, slow down and turn around .
These ozobot robots will incorporate art, math, technology and science. It reaches multiple learners, making students feel successful.
