My Project

According to research, adolescent students should be engaged in discussions of texts to improve literacy. Students should discuss the meaning of texts and analyze them compared to their own experiences.

Books are a way to make connections to the world and each other.

This project will help us accomplish this goal.

We want to provide students with text sets that allow us to all experience the author's words so that we may then analyze and discuss the text together. It will help us build our literacy knowledge and our classroom community.
