My Students

Our journey together is a short one. There is so much to do in order to build little hearts and minds! Each year, I’m blessed with a mixture of little ones brought together for nine months. The families in our community love and care for their children and with their support, we work together to begin growing hearts and minds!

Hurricane Harvey has impacted this community.

Hurricane Harvey has changed this area and its families in many ways. With the negative changes brought on by this, families and their children will count on our kindergarten family for more love and encouragement! Amazing things happen here! I wish you could see the changes and growth made by this kindergarten family! We read, write, count, explore, investigate, listen, learn, and try to scatter kindness along the way!

My Project

Color coded magnetic letters will be used to build words. The magnetic boards will be used to keep our letters organized and ready for learning. With Hurricane Harvey behind us, help us continue to develop our growing hearts and scatter kindness to one another. The Heather Krantz read aloud books will encourage rich discussions.

Just right readers are needed in the hands of these beginning readers.

They love to read! Reusable dry erase pockets and markers will give opportunities for individual practice and save lots of paper. The Amazing Science read aloud picture books will develop science concepts and vocabulary for these emerging scientists. An alphabet and math game will bring lots of happy smiles, while they are practicing their basic skills.

The base plates and snap cubes will build their fine motor skills. The STEM opportunities with the base plates and snap cubes are endless. The foundation is being solidly built - we are building for the future!
