Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are especially resilient learners that come from very diverse backgrounds. Our families are all active-duty military and have to create new lives every two to three years. They come with varying amounts of knowledge and backgrounds but we've built a harmonious learning environment.

This donation will help us create a collaborative learning space where students benefit by learning from each other, being engaged in learning and reading books that offer new ways of thinking and world views.

Having a diverse classroom library will ensure there is a book for every student.
