This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a very energetic and creative group of kindergartners. They love to learn through play and share what they have learned with their friends and family. They love to get their hands on things to learn how things work and they love to create new things. Their little faces light up when they learn about new concepts and get the opportunity explore them through hands on experiences. They are loving, kind and the sweetest group of kids you could ever meet.

My Project

Learning to identify letters and sounds is one of the most important things a child can learn. It's the foundation in learning how to read and write. Students start by learning letters and sounds and then move onto makings words. Students learn in many different ways and sometimes just using flashcards isn't enough. Providing a variety of learning opportunities for each child's learning style will help to promote engagement in activities and retention of new information.

By donating to our project, you will not only help my littles practice their skills in identifying letters, sounds, and making words, you will ultimately help to increase their academic success.
