This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a low income, diverse population of high achievers. We are trying to build a boys/girls athletic wrestling program with very little income and experience.W e need mats, warm up shirts, basic equipment to practice with and compete with in matches. Our kids are dedicated to the sport and getting a better life, but they need some help. Your donation will go a long way to helping them be successful. My kids come from low income and working class neighborhoods.

My Project

We are starting a wrestling program from the bottom up, and we need the ability to be successful with basic equipment. We have very limited if any equipment now.

My goal is to give the kids the tools they need to be successful with the bigger, more economically blessed schools.

Kids should not feel money is the key to success, our goal is to give the tools to compete with bigger schools and not let a lack of equipment be the reason for their failures.

The equipment - a basic clock and timer, mat moving equipment and basic match equipment are critical to running a program. We appreciate any help you can give.
