Our school is located in an urban inner city area in Ohio. My students take part in the inclusion model at my school. Throughout the school day, I support students in the general education classrooms and provide direct instruction in my smaller resource room for the areas of reading, writing, and math. I have a wonderful group of students in my homeroom.
These hardworking students strive every day to meet their own individualized academic goals.

My Project
Many of my students struggle with visual-spatial reasoning skills. These challenges can inhibit future success in reading and math. With the use of Osmo, my students will be able to enhance their visual-spatial reasoning skills by playing games using our classroom iPad & the Osmo manipulatives.
"The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) recommends that spatial reasoning should be a large focus of preK – 8th grade math education".
My students will LOVE using Osmo to create, design, and explore blending technology and hands-on learning together as one. I can't wait to share Osmo with my students this school year!
