My Students

My school is filled with an awesome group of kids! They come from a very high poverty area. They work hard each day, and deserve to have all the resources they need to implement new and exciting curriculum. By providing them with donations, my goal is to give them what they need to focus on the important things at school! Improving reading levels is my number one goal and I need to find cool and interesting ways to do this!

My Project

This ETA hand2mind Daily Math Fluency Kit with Number Strings will help students with math fluency. This would then build a foundation for them to grow confidence. Not only does having math fluency help build confidence, but it also helps students build the foundation for skills that will influence the rest of their learning. By third grade students should have mastered their addition and subtraction facts, and they will then learn multi digit addition and subtraction. By the end of third grade they should have mastered all multiplication and division facts. It is impossible to have success in fourth grade without these skills! My students need a fun and engaging program to help them!
