Building Confidence and Replenishing Our Classroom!
My students need classroom supplies replenished, an accessible machine to bind their personalized books, and an engaging microphone ball to inspire students to speak clearly and loudly when participating in class!
My seventh and eighth grade students are truly passionate about their education. My students have a desire to learn and to be challenged. To be honest, they inspire me. They inspire me to go above and beyond and to always give them a 100%.
When teaching students who excel, it is my responsibility to provide experiences and opportunities to further and expand their learning.
Thankfully, my campus, as a whole, is highly spirited and dedicated to educating all students. Students WANT to be on campus - they are proud to be a Miner. Sadly, resources, especially technology, are limited. Lack of funding directly impacts my students in the classroom.
My Project
We are in need of basic classroom items that are used to enhance my students' learning and to encourage creativity! My classroom needs items such as: index cards, envelopes, clipboards, hole punchers, Post It notes, art materials (shrink film to create stained glass windows) and pencils. To organize materials and pens for art projects and other classroom experiences, we will use the galvanized buckets to separate the items.

To inspire and enhance classroom discussions, we will use the QBall microphone to improve my students' listening and speaking skills. In addition, my students would really appreciate all of their hard work bound into books. With the book binding machine, my students will be able to cherish their writing even more! To inspire speaking and writing, my students will use their bound books to perform their poetry. The purple tinsel curtain will be used to decorate for our class Poetry Cafe.
My goal is to provide my students even more learning opportunities that are unique, fun, and connective to the curriculum. When my students are motivated and care about their learning, they are inspired to give a full effort in their work!
