Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My school is located in a low-income neighborhood with students from diverse backgrounds. Over 95% of the population qualifies for free school meals. We are a Title I school. My classroom consists of special needs students, who put their best foot forward everyday.

My third graders are eager to learn and deserve quality

materials. With differentiated learning needs, having the right materials and resources is key.

Each students is unique, and has different learning styles.

We deserve quality resources and experiences that will shape their future. Being that we are a Title I school, however, it’s often a challenge to find funding to purchase materials and resources. Basic classroom supplies and technology are in high demand in our school. Our students deserve to experience high-quality education and resources to nurture their learning experience.

My Project

This school year has been different to say the least. Hybrid learning has changed the way we all learn. With scholars learning and completing work online, technology is now more important than ever.

Acer Chromebooks will make a difference in our scholar's learning by allowing them to access our learning platforms daily.

Engaging lessons for Math, Science, ELA, Social Studies and Computer Science can be easily accessed.Scholars will be able to upload and submit work, create projects, and engage with other students through "breakout rooms".

With your donation, the Acer Chromebooks will be used for both remote and in-person learning.
