My students need a Promethean ActivSlate so that we can incorporate technology into our classroom. They also need word building puzzles and a magic board.
We are in the age of technology and we need our future leaders (our current students) to be exposed, so that they can advance in this techie world we live in. Our kindergarten class is still years away from getting an ActivBoard in our classroom, so we need the ActivSlate to give us that capability!
My class is a group of 22 very excited-about-learning kindergarten students.
The demographics in our neighborhood are changing, so we have a mix of ethnicity's and socio-economic groups. We attend a very large school of over 600 students, so resources are scarce and kindergarten some how always ends up on the bottom of our school list. We need some extra help!
My Project
We are asking for an ActivSlate. This wonderful device brings ActivBoard technology to classroom that does not have an actual ActivBoard. We are able to manipulate the ActivSlate which will be projected onto our whiteboard from our projector. This way we can try to keep up with all the lucky students that already have ActivBoards in their classrooms.
Technology integration is so important for students.
It creates excitement for learning and higher student engagement. Teaching kindergarten students how to use technology will help create forward thinkers that will soon be running our country! Help give them the gift of a fun, exciting, and rich learning environment with the ActivSlate!
