This year is my first year teaching STEM Enrichment. I have taught at my school for 3 years. Being that it is a new subject being taught here, I am starting from the bottom.
My students are one of the highlights of my day each day and I want more than anything to show them they are intelligent, important, and loved.
A lot of my kids live in rough areas, and many times, school is put on the backburner while they try to cope with what is going on at home.
I have built a strong bond with my students and they deserve a chance in life no matter what background they come from. I'm hoping I can spark their interests in the STEM field by introducing them to a multitude of fun activities and give them a chance to be successful.
My Project
Please help fund my project! These supplies will help to increase my STEM class curriculum supplies. This is my first year teaching STEM here at Sunbright, and lack of funding has caused me to have to purchase STEM activity supplies out of my own pocket.
I would love the opportunity to utilize these activities in my classroom and help show my students how awesome STEM can be.
I want my students to be successful in education, but in doing so, I have to be able to show them that learning new things is fun. These activities can help me reach my students through hands on learning activities that might spark their interests in the STEM field.
