Building Blocks To Social Success
My students need a tabletop hardwood blocks and two sets of nature blocks to explore spacial relationships and opportunities to develop their social relationships.
The children in my classroom, especially boys, enjoy playing with blocks during our center time. We need new blocks for children to play with that encourage their academic and social development.
I teach first grade in an Oklahoma school that values teaching to the multiple intelligences.
Learning is a social process in our classroom. The children in my classroom love to work together but need opportunities to interact with each other and learn social skills. They enjoy playing with blocks but need materials that will help them be creative in their play.
I am requesting a class set of tabletop hardwood blocks and two sets of nature blocks. These blocks will allow children to develop both academically and socially. The blocks will help children build fine motor skills, explore mathematical concepts such as geometry, and interact socially as they share and cooperate.
Blocks have endless play possibilities!
Through exploration and creativity, the possibilities grow as children engage and develop. Will you help us build our way to social success by supporting our classroom?
