Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students attend a public Title I school. They are energetic, fun-loving, little ones. My students have been in school virtually for a week now. They are young minds excited to show their faces every day. They are eager to learn and play.
This is my 1st year teaching pre k; I am excited to watch my students grow.
My Project
This project is for my prek students to be able to build sky scrapers and make a city. They will be learning about the concept (tall, tallest) vocabulary words like gigantic and humorous. These blocks will also be great to teach them about the city and about the community and its workers. This project also contains storage bins for the blocks and legos we have in class. It also has upper and lower case letter pebbles for them to be able to search for them indoor or out doors great for alphabet letter recognition.
