Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are eager four year old students, who are so anxious to get their hands into learning! These students are experiencing the first year of their educational career. They come in very shy, not knowing what to expect and observing their surroundings. This quickly fades as they make friends and notice all the wonderful manipulatives that await them.
The students come from high need families but with high expectations.
Our school is considered a high-risk school due to the economic situation in which they live.
My Project
The Big Builder Construction Set will provide my students with many opportunities to create as they build which will further enrich their fine motor skills. Providing students with many opportunities to invent, which these supplies will provide for, will allow students to further develop their problem shooting skills.
