This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a resource teacher so all of my students are unique and amazing! They all have a learning disability, are deaf and hard of hearing, or have some sort of academic struggle or disability. These students however do not let their disabilities get them down; they are the most resilient, funny, caring, and loving bunch of kids. They love to come to resource and learn. Most of them are from lower-income families or are military families and the kids are so so SO amazing.

My Project

These products will help my students use their knowledge to play and build at school!

Promoting play in the classroom allows students to practice so many skills, including social skills, creativity, math, science, engineering, and so much more!

I want to give my students the opportunity to build! They love to build towers with their pencils and crayons and it is so good for their budding brains to engage in building! It is great math practice and they have so much fun doing it!

My special education students may think a little different, but that doesn't mean that they are not creative and love engaging with hands on materials! These products will give them the change to hands on engage and use their skills to build.
