Building Behavior Charts for Social Emotional Learning

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have been delighted with the most ambitious, hardworking, and persistent kindergarteners in the Pacific Northwest. This unique bunch came together to create our integrated kindergarten program. This program is comprised of students with special needs and typically developing peers working together to navigate the wonderful land of kindergarten.
We are a community of thoughtful, intentional, and tolerant citizens who value and appreciate the individual needs of each person that walks through our door.
We are accomplishing more than academics, we are striving for loving and intellectual community members.
I am so thankful for my class, they are ready and eager for any challenge I bring forth. They explore, create, and engage in every activity. The smiles and laughter make each day worth it. Watching them grow and learn has been the highlight of my year.
My Project
Our class has a handful of students that would benefit from robust and individualized behavior charts to keep them motivated and learning. I am asking for materials that I need to build these behavior charts and motivational tools.
Every behavior plan is hand-crafted with intentionality and time, needing top quality materials to meet some of my thriving kindergartener's needs.
I can't wait to receive these materials and put them to use. The laminating pouches help make the charts and projects more durable allowing them to last longer and stand up to busy kindergarteners. The dry erase markers are attached to the plans and help us make needed marks to track progress and collect data. The binders keep everything held together and stickers are for motivation!
