Our year is half way done but we are keeping our minds sharp! We need some help to keep our exploring going.
We love to get our hands and minds into hands-on activities and want to continue this throughout the year.
Students in the community I have the privilege to teach have research-based factors that show learning may be a struggle now and in years to come. This early experience of being in a Prek classroom with various manipulates and experiences helps my students overcome these odds by setting a firm foundation and developing a love of learning.
My Project
The students in my community need to be given the chances to explore with open-ended materials. The Legos, straws and connectors, and magnet rods will give students the ability to express creativity and build problem solving skills.
My students learn most effectively when given opportunities to touch and explore.
We spend the majority of the day in centers around the room using our hands to explore concepts. These items will add language and problem-solving opportunities to our center time.
Our love for learning has grown so much this year, and we would love the addition of these items to help us continue in our educational growth.
