My students need a light table for science area. They used to have one, but it is not working anymore. They love to build with the magnets and they miss the light table.

My Students
The children in the classroom are three to five years old. They follow rules and routine very well. They like to learn about the different studies implemented in the lesson plan. We learned about buildings and sand, and we are going to start a new study about bugs. They really loved the building study; they built bridges and buildings in the block area and the parents did a bridge project together with their children. I displayed the projects in the classroom. The children created special invitations by drawing and coloring and we invited all the classroom in the center, supervisors and all the staff in El Valor to visit our classroom. The display was very successful, and the children loved to talk about their bridge and explain how they did it.
They like to sing and dance and their favorite song is Baby Shark.
They really enjoy to play in art area and create different things such as, purses, bracelets, houses, caterpillars etc. I like to see the children learn and develop during the school year, and very proud about their improvements.
My Project
The children will be able to create and build on the light table. Specially the five years old since they new challenges and materials to keep them engage and excited in the classroom. The children get bored in the classroom once they turn five years old, and especially if it is their second year in the classroom. They need new toys and materials since they played with the same toys for two years. The science area needs more materials and the light table would be a good piece to make this area stand. The block area also needs more building materials besides the regular wood blocks. All the materials that I would like for my project would be great for the classroom and their learning!
The Earth Solids Magnetic Building Set would be innovative for the children and they would be more interested in building and playing in the block area.
