My Students

My school hosts a large number of military families. My students are resilient, hard-working, and simply eager to learn. Many of my students face the challenges of military life. There is a lot of uncertainty, and I do my best to be a consistent figure in their lives. The students in my class manage to amaze me daily with their ability to adapt to any situation that is thrown at them. They are true heroes and represent our school district well.

My Project

Storyworks® is a magazine I’d like to get for every student in my class. Each issue helps me build their English language arts skills with articles, stories, and plays I know they’ll love.

With each issue, we’ll build the reading, writing, and thinking skills your child needs to succeed in school and beyond.

Plus, Storyworks comes with hundreds of activities designed to prepare children for standardized tests

With your contribution, we’ll get 6 issues for the next school year that my students can use in many ways. My students will also get access to Storyworks Online, featuring videos, audio read-alouds, articles, and more.
