This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Student difficulties and struggles in mathematics are a constant challenge and issue in education; not because students cannot learn, but because we need to revise the way we teach mathematics. Vertical mobile whiteboards will encourage conceptual mastery. It allows students to engage and interact with math, thinking through tasks, building their own knowledge, and discovering concepts through application. Expanding their overall skills past just basic procedure. Thinking classrooms reinforce problems solving, collaboration, and open discussion around math. It will bring math and the real world together for students.
