Building a Tech Smart Student One Drone at a Time.
My students need drones to take to the skies. These kits will allow them to build before they fly to ensure as much learning as possible.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students walk into our classroom every day with questions, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. Post HURRICANE HARVEY our year started off slowly, our academic and athletic programs were behind the ball, in some cases even without a ball. With a large loss of time, equipment, and spirit we need a little help to put smiles back on the students’ faces.
My school was unreachable for more than a week due to flood waters of Harvey.
I teach at a Title I school in Houston where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My Project
Studying drone technology requires an investment of money, time, and interest. My students have the time and interest but not the capital. I have worked with the evolving world of drones over the past few years and one thing in obvious, proper tech makes the difference between a good and bad experience.
This project will put the Technology needed for drones in the hands of my students.
Please consider helping my students further their interest in STEM with these project. We will recreate emergency response situations, like those we experienced first hand during Hurricane Harvey, and develop plans to involve the new drone technology to save lives.
Help me give my students a sense of how drones may have saved their neighbors lives. Thank you
