I teach a wonderful group of 4th-grade students in all subject areas. I also have the pleasure of teaching our other two classes of 4th-grade students Health. Our school site goal is to help our students work on problem-solving skills and how to respectfully deal with challenging situations. We have adopted some new programs being taught by other teachers in our building. I would like to continue this work with our 4th-grade students.
Our school's 4th graders enjoy very imaginative and are working towards a strong school community.
We would like to continue to improve our school community and help the new early childhood students who have recently joined our building.
My Project
These new books will enhance lessons that will teach students this year and in years to come, how to build a strong school community while learning how to communicate effectively with their classmates and other children in our building. We will provide some hands-on learning while using this variety of books, and do some role-playing to practice what we have learned.
With these new books, I will be able to strengthen our lessons and help my students have the ability to deal with challenging situations in a constructive manner.
We are working on preparing students for the future as they continue to grow.
