My Pre-K class is an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are learning how to read, write, and count while others are learning letters of the alphabet, identifying shapes and colors. My group loves to play and be silly, dance to Jack Hartman songs, and learn new games.
The work we do in the classroom is building relationships, working together as a group, following directions, and learning skills that will help them to be successful in kindergarten.
Young children love to play together. But with the outbreak of Covid, play dates with friends and games with large groups were sadly not safe ideas. With “Building A Strong Foundation” we can bridge some of the gaps children have had the past few years.
Building A Strong Foundation will help children:
*Increase their Attention Span
*Cooperate with Others
*Help develop fine motor and gross motor skills
*Develop Early Science Concepts
*Early Math and Number Concepts
*Language Development- vocabulary
*Problem Solving- finding solutions
*Perceive Spatial relationships with the environment around you
