This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I started mid year at a new school teaching math and science for 3rd and 4th grades. My goal is to increase the love of math in my students and for them to build confidence in themselves while increasing their math and reading skills. During independent practice, students can have the opportunity to make connections to the learning in fiction books, STEM experiments, biographies, and reference texts to increase their awareness and connection to learning and real-life application.

I am trying to build a new classroom library with books in the subject areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

I need your help in building these wonderful resources that will be available for years to come for students. The math books and will support math needs in various ways to promote lifelong learning for 3rd and 4th grade students.
