My Students

I teach 22 amazing fifth graders in Bellevue, NE! We come from many different backgrounds. Many are military, some have moved here from another state for parents' jobs, and some of us are born and raised in Bellevue. No matter what brought us together, we all bring something special to our classroom.

We have a fun time learning together!

We all know that we all have different experiences and we respect one another. I love to instill a love of reading into my students, and seeing their excitement about new books brings a smile to my face!

My Project

We start every morning with a morning meeting to share what's going on in and outside of school. I'd like to use the Qball to get everyone involved and active in, not only our morning meeting discussions, but academic discussions throughout the day, as well.

Building a positive community in my classroom is what I strive for year-to-year.

I involve all of my students and go out of my way to make sure every single one of them feels safe to share and be heard in my room. The Qball will help aid this and will help to get ALL of my students active in class discussions.
