Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We will be a new 4th grade class on a K-6 campus of a K-12 school. We are brothers and sisters, athletes and scholars, students and teachers but most of all friends. Our love of learning is matched only by our desire to be entrepreneurs. We love to invent, be creative and explore our curiosities and READ.
We represent the future of athletics, education, medicine, business and politics.
As a financially struggling charter school, sometimes the things we need can be passed over, but they are the tools we need to be successful.
My Project
Now that the students have books on there way, we need a way to organize and catalog them. We need library cards and card holders. Wall hanging folders to help organize and a date stamp and ink pad to keep students accountable. These supplies will help us so that we will have this library for years to come.
Organizing and cataloging is essential to keeping our library functioning.
The students will be in charge of keeping or library in working order.
Since we are an entrepreneurial school, running a library and being responsible for its content is a valuable skill the students will have the opportunity to explore.
