Help me give my students some fun opportunities to practice their foundational skills. Using the Phonics Activity Stations as well as the phonemic awareness and rhyming activities will really help my students build those foundational skills.
My kiddos are very energetic and talkative little learners! I have 24 first graders that range in age from just six to almost eight years old. They are sweet, smart, fun kids that need some literacy activities that focus on the foundational skills.
They need to build these skills so that they will be ready to learn the rest of the reading skills taught in first grade.
Without the foundation of reading set, they have a hard time learning the rest of the reading skills they need to become great readers.
My Project
These materials will make such a difference in my students learning because without a good, firm foundation in reading, many students will always struggle. I want to make sure they build those necessary foundational skills so that they are ready to learn the rest of the reading skills they need to become good readers.
These activities are fun and engaging for the students.
They will have the opportunity to use them during centers, small group time, and after school tutoring. There are many different activities for them to use that will keep their interest while still learning the skills that they need to become the best readers they can be!
