Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help my students develop a cultural awareness. We all come from different backgrounds and facets of life. That’s what makes every individual so special!

It is crucial to teach students about treating others with kindness and respect at an early age - no matter our differences.

This will help eliminate cultural biases at an early age, enabling students to develop a sense of acceptance of other individuals who are different from them.

These books will teach and celebrate unique and special practices from a variety of cultures. My wish is that my students will engage in meaningful discussions on the similarities and differences between various cultures.

Our young children are the future leaders of our country. They are the most loving and accepting individuals. We owe it to them to teach how a little bit of kindness can go a long way.
