My students need new book bins to help organize our classroom library!
This project expired on June 30, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are in a 4th grade, general education classroom. I have 26 students enrolled in my class. My students are very talented young individuals who come from a high poverty section of New York City. They face challenges outside of school, but they always do their best to succeed every day. My school is 100% free breakfast and lunch.
My students are very ambitious, and I am constantly amazed by their ability to strive to do better.
They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.
A classroom library plays a very important role in students' education. My goal is to make my classroom library, as self-sufficient and student-friendly as possible. My classroom library is in need of new book bins. Having new book bins will help my library become more organized.
The new book bins will allow my students to search for books based on their reading level and interest.
Having the book bins come in different BRIGHT colors will also make my classroom library more inviting to my students. This is help make my library feel more welcoming and will encourage my students to take out a book.
