Building a Classroom Community of Successful Learners!
Help me give my students a rug and stools to welcome them into their classroom and make them feel comfortable, supplies to help them be successful, and classroom materials to help make our room feel like home!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our students come from low-income households and 100% receive free breakfast and lunch at school. You would never know they face such struggles when you see their smiling faces. These students are hardworking, creative, and love coming to school each day. As a teacher, I strive to create a welcoming environment full of everything they need to become successful students
Welcome to First Grade - my classroom is quickly going to fill with friends who are thoughtful, excited, and ready to learn!
They are eager and able to create meaningful friendships and develop a true love of learning. Thank you for helping me believe in them!
My Project
Thank you for considering a donation to my classroom! We will use the rug and stools to help us feel invited and welcomed into an organized classroom. All of the school supplies will help my students feel successful and prepared, as many come to school without necessary materials. The remainder of the materials will help me prepare my classroom for the students to return. First Grade is such an exciting and transitional year, and the students LOVE to learn!! Feeling organized and prepared is a big step in reaching the goals we set as a First Grade family. Thank you for believing in the future of my little learners!
