Help me give my students STEM toys such as straw builders, magnetic blocks, and interactive letters and numbers so they can learn problem-solving, planning skills, and how to use their creativity through play.
My learners are a special group of kids who are eager to learn. Many are working on learning letters and sounds. They love technology and exploring new ways to learn. With 19 Kindergartners, we need as many resources as possible to provide opportunities to learn.
Creativity and Innovation are skills my learners need to explore, and can't be taught with a textbook.
My learners love to learn with hands-on materials and through play. They are curious and learning to understand how they learn best.
Giving learners a chance to explore learning and problem solving through hands-on practice and experience is essential. In order to do this, we need resources for them to use for creating and problem solving! We will be using the Straw Builders, Magnet tiles, and Marbotic Smart Kit hands-on learning games to develop 21st century skills of creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking.
Creativity and innovation are skills my learners need to explore, and can't be taught with a textbook.
With these materials we will have guided learning centers where they can develop these skills using play-based learning. More and more, studies show the importance of play in learning. These resources will allow my learners to learn through play and hands-on, open ended experimentation.
