My Students

The future leaders of our diverse world, these are my students. I love their curiosity and how they put their imagination to work! They are the 25 Kindergarten students in a Title I school deserving of access to new STEAM activities in the STEAM Center during small group instruction. My students dream to be scientists, doctors, and engineers in the future. One would like to build the bridge that will let them drive to the beach and one said will make cars that fly.

My Project

The STEAM activities resources will be instrumental in molding the future leaders of our diverse world and the learning experience will be monumental! My kindergarteners will be building real life situations involving people and places, like builders and pioneers of the modern world. With this, my students will learn how people work together while solving community problems. During reading, social studies, and most especially math/science time, my kids will be collaborating in learning groups using these tools as their supplementary resources in creating scenarios similar to real-life that will initiate conversations and problem-solving opportunities such how to fix a broken bridge and how do people live in a community.
