The passion for learning comes with curiosity, interest, and exploring. It is my goal to encourage this love for learning and to create a hands-on learning environment in our library.
By encouraging creative STEM related activities we offer a “Habitat for Learning” by challenging students to reach their full potential.
Our students come from involved parents and households who are interested in their learning. The students are active in their learning and will love the opportunity to create something all their own.
Showcasing student creations on a wall is a great way to inspire students to make and create. A Lego wall offers wonderful opportunities for students to collaborate and communicate while they are tinkering, making and doing. By building a Lego wall with Baseplates and building bricks the students will enjoy collaborative hands-on fun.
There are many centers in the media center for children to explore and including a Lego wall will enhance the hands-on environment children love.
I strive to make the library a happy place. I want students to have a positive connection to libraries from an early age, and I believe a Lego wall will help my cause.
