Do you like to build things with your hands? Do you like to use your imagination to have fun? My students really enjoy both of these. They love to use blocks and Lincoln Logs to build forts and bridges. They enjoy using paper and tape to make robots. They love to use play dough to make pretend food. Using their hands as fins, they love to play "shark" during recess time.
The True Sign of Intelligence is not Knowledge, but Imagination...Albert Einstein
My kinders are a very creative bunch. Oh how I love watching them use their imagination!
My Project
The products I have chosen will provide an opportunity for students to have more tools to let their imaginations run wild. They will be able to construct bridges using the Magna tiles, build their neighborhood using the Lego blocks, and learn all about magnetism using the STEM magnet activity.
It is amazing to see where their imaginations can take them...the farm, airport, big cities, across mountains, oceans, or simply to their homes.
With these hands-on STEM tools, my students will have an opportunity to use their imaginations! During our enrichment time, students work independently or with a partner and use classroom supplies to construct anything they can image. With these tools, my students will have an opportunity to let imagination build knowledge!
