Help me give my students hands-on learning activities. Help them be creative and imaginative, using hands-on play to build anything they can imagine! It helps them develop Math, Science, Spatial and tactile skills!
I work in an early childhood special education classroom. My students range from three to five years-old. Sixty percent of my students have some sort of special needs, and the other forty percent are model students. My students come from a rural low-income community in Southeast Kansas.
Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn.
Every day is new and exciting! My goal is to make our classroom a magical place that the students love to come to!
My Project
My students are in need of more hands-on activities to use during our daily center time. Magna-Tiles are great for hands-on building. The students can build anything they can imagine! Magna-Tiles are also good for developing math, science, spatial and tactile skills that help to expand their imagination!
My classroom will be a fun and exciting place for hands-on activities to help build on students' fine motor skills!
The parachute will promote cooperative group play while helping to build muscles, taking turns and cooperation. The students love art and the stamps will get much use in our art center!!
