This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students want to learn and keep growing! My students come from low-income families and they appreciate everything that we do in Physical Education class! I am new to this school and I want to make PE FUN for them! The equipment I am requesting (Mini sound system to blue tooth music from my phone, microphone to hear teachers instructions and battery charger with batteries to keep all charged along with electronic whistles and an air pump to air up balls) is not in our gym. These items would make our lessons more fun! If the students could exercise and participate to music with being able to hear my voice or hear the whistle as I walk around the entire gym, our lessons and activities would be tons more FUN! The convenience of having some of these items would help lessons flourish and maximize our learning time!

It is also very helpful to have balls that have air in them, most of them are flat.

We are in great need of an air pump! I currently have to borrow one or take the balls to a gas station to air them up. Students love to come to PE class and release stress and have fun and play. If students can come to our gym and have enhanced "FUN"ctional lessons with equipment ready to use, it will help them be better learners in the traditional classroom as well! So please help our class be ready to have some fun!
