This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are incredible learners and I am so happy to be able to create this project for them! My students love coming to health class, I try my best to provide them with interactive lessons to keep them engaged! I love how curious they are and they always ask so many inciteful questions!
Many of my students are hands-on learners and will greatly benefit from the products I have chosen.
I believe these products will allow their interests to grow even more and they can get a well-rounded health education!
My Project
My students are in need of various health education resources to allow them to be successful this year. I have chosen items from various units that are covered throughout the year. I chose the vision goggles so students can see the affects of drinking. I chose the stress management kit, the that's so gay activity kit, and the conflict resolution bingo to incorporate the NYS Mental Health Initiative into my curriculum. I would like the sex ed video because there are so many students unaware of how their body works and this allow for a greater understanding of changes they are facing and consequences that can be prevented.The students need these materials to get a greater understanding of the material being covered. These students thrive on hands-on activities and the products I have chosen will greatly impact their learning! The products I have chosen such as the vision impaired goggles and the bingo game will keep my students engaged as well as keep them excited about learning! I am so proud of my students and I would love to be able to give them new experiences!
