My Project

Our school is classified as Title I, so we do not have enough money to buy instruments for a full percussion ensemble. Instead, we use buckets to create an exciting drumline. My students have so much fun playing music that they often break the buckets! We need new, sturdy buckets that will be strong against the rhythmic hits of the sticks.

My students love creating fantastic beats and cadences on their buckets.

We emphasize creativity in the classroom, so my students compose most of their cadences. It is a great opportunity for them to work together as a team and exercise their creative juices. My students will be so excited to used the new buckets to make thrilling music!
