Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are a group of highly gifted and talented builders, creators, and problem solvers! They are interested in applying what they know in the classroom to the real world through STEM projects and activities.
My students come from challenging neighborhoods and tough backgrounds but they continue to rise above these circumstances, not in spite of their community, but with their community.
My students have the kindest hearts and want to do good in and for the world. They're always asking the questions: How can we help? What can we do? Then they work tirelessly and put in the hard work to make a difference in their communities daily. They continue to rise up. They're world changers!
My Project
Bubble Bonanza! Students need excitement and hands-on materials to get excited about science class!
My students love to build and create and that's exactly what this Bubble Bonanza kit allows them to do.
This kit will completely change classroom learning into an investigative STEM task my students will be engaged and challenged with. Students will get to explore how bubbles behave all while investigating properties of materials during bubble wand engineering. This will challenge them as learners and provide valuable experience using problem solving skills needed for future careers. Bubble Bonanza allows my students an opportunity to explore their inner Einsteins: something they are good at but is not always offered in the traditional classroom.
