Help me give my students some warmth on the playground! My kiddos have some cold fingers and ears, and most can't afford to replace/get any more winter gear. They need to bundle up for our cold Midwest recess!

My Students

Our school is full of bright and unique individuals. Each and every one of our students have different needs and wants. The kids and staff accept each other, which makes for an exciting and eventful time at our school! Our students are from an urban, low-income area. They have the biggest hearts, but sometimes they don't show it in appropriate ways. I think that our students have amazing possibilities in life. If they could just try to accomplish the tasks at hand, they can do it!

My Project

Wow, it’s cold out here in the Midwest! These 3rd and 4th graders need to bundle up! Unfortunately, a lot of them cannot.

Gloves and hats should not be a luxury for children!

Every day before recess I see many of my students scrambling for hats and gloves to stay warm, and some even ask not to go out because it’s just too cold without that extra gear.

Our school is running out of extra gloves and hats for students. With your donation, you will help outfit two classes with winter gear they will cherish. Help keep recess fun, not a burden!
