Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our students show a desire to succeed. They are driven to achieve academic and athletic success. We have a group of diverse students, who represents all areas of our community. Our students show the "aloha spirit" daily. They consistently show up with smiles and a willingness to get better. They are very "coach-able" and work hard.

Our Girls Track & Field Members are a great bunch of kids who want to get better on and off of the athletic field of play.

They no longer accept "can't" as an option. They learn to expect greatness, accept their best effort, and learn continuously.

My Project

Our girls' Track & Field team is fantastic! They always show up to practice and work hard getting in shape and pushing themselves to the limit of their ability.

Help make our girls' Track & Field runners even FASTER with a good pair of running shoes.

Sometimes, our younger athletes think that their shoes used for school is good enough for cross-country practice, or even competitive track meets. We see students showing up and trying to run in Vans, Converse, or even Keds slip-on shoes. These students risk injuring themselves when they should be wearing proper shoes.
