My Project

This will be the second year for the Student of the Month Luncheons where students receive a T-Shirt imprinted with Student of the Month, a pizza luncheon, and a certificate presents by the Principal.

We recognize 36 students each of 7 months, that is 252 students, which is approximately half of the school population.

Students are selected from each general education classroom, resource classrooms, special needs (Autism and Learning disabilities), and social workers/behavior specialists select students that have improved their social-emotional behaviors.

When students are selected one can see their self-esteem blossom. We have seen an improvement in students being on time to class, following through with school-established expectations, improvement in attitudes and they have become model students.

Our request is for 142 T-shirts, which is about half of the T-shirts that are needed. We will absorb the cost of the T-Shirts to be imprinted. We thank you for your consideration so that we can continue this recognition.
