This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
You can make a difference in a classroom. Help fill our classroom with necessary supplies to make learning successful.
I am a kindergarten teacher in New York City.
Over 90% of our students receive free lunch. The majority of the students in our school are below level. As their faces are different so are their basic needs. Maybe it's a sharpened pencil or seeing their work displayed in the classroom that makes a difference to that student.
My Project
Themed floor puzzles and large magnetic money will capture students attention. The CD player will be used in the listening center during center time as well as the floor puzzles. Of course you can remember how many times students need their pencils sharpened and how much pride they have when they see their work displayed.
Your donation to this project will bring comfort and excitable learning in the classroom.
The students will be the ones using these items daily. It will be apart of their classroom. Your help is needed to make this possible.
