Bringing the Revolution to the Big Screen

My students need a video camera and tripod to film short movies about American History.

I teach Fifth Grade in Rural Southern Utah in a school that is trying to push the boundaries of technology for the students.

We want to have student reports come to life in a short film. We will have students write reports about American History and turn them into short films to show to the classes and their parents.

We need a video camera to be able to film short movies to help demonstrate what the students have learned about American history. We will start with short films about Explorers, then learn about people and important events in the American Revolution and the Civil War, and end with important people that helped make America great.

Your help will make it possible for students to complete film projects and demonstrate what they have learned about history. This will provide the students with real-life experience presenting their researched information.
