Why are my students amazing? My students are amazing because many of them come from backgrounds that are challenging, but they never let it hold them down.
My students work hard at school, and that's why I work hard for them.
I make sure that state and city budgets don't limit my students' learning. I make sure that they get what they need to learn and to thrive in lessons big and small—and you are a big part of that!
My Project
This project is designed to bring a wide variety of plant life into our classroom so students can observe, care for, and simply enjoy being around plants. We live in a major city, and a wide variety of plant life can be a little hard to come by.
With your donation, my students will be able to interact with everything from Venus Fly Traps to beautiful aquatic plants.
My students are learning about life science - so why not bring lots of living things to them? Students will be able to learn about the wide variety of habitats that our plants come from before creating unique terrarium habitats for each set of plants. As the year goes on, students will care for the plants and document how they have changed through photographs and note taking.
This project will connect my students with beautiful, unique living things - helping them to develop an understand of, and appreciation for, the living world.
