My students need technology to access many learning website/ activities. These chrome books will allow them to access resources to increase their learning and independence.

My Students

My students are students with learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, autism and ADHD. They are a wonderful, energetic and persevering students.

We are the largest Title One school in our school district.

My students come to school with a variety of needs but they all have the desire to try and do that best that they can. The level of support they receive from home varies but these students strive to be the best version of themselves, no matter the limitations they face each and every day.

My Project

In our resource room, we are a busy place. Having technology will help them to be engaged when they are not receiving direct instruction. In an age where technology is everywhere, we are struggling to have enough resources to help them access it.

My hope that is that we can add three chrome books to our classroom and allow my students to excess learning based websites to increase their reading, writing and math skills.

These chrome books will allow them to type, access basic reading, reading comprehension and math websites. Currently with our group sizes and the amazing websites available, I am using technology to engage students and help their learning be more individualized to their levels and needs.
